Liechtenstein
Some views of Liechtenstein
Sorry, The pictures here are scanned from photographs that have
been taken with the now "old fashioned" 35 mm film rolls.

Over the years Ruth and I have visited The
Principality of Liechtenstein a few times passing through
going from one country to another.
It is a doubly landlocked alpine country in Western Europe
Its easy access from Switzerland to the west and by
Austria to the east, makes it a wonderful place to spend a
few hours.
The capital of the country is Vaduz, a “Tourist Paradise”,
buzzing with activity during the daylight hours. Practically
every tourist bus in that part of the world is passing and
stopping at this place.
Much of Liechtenstein's terrain is mountainous, making it a
winter sports destination.
Once we stayed overnight, and the following day very early
we went further ‘inland’ and made some of the most
interesting walks in the mountains as we went higher and
deeper into the woodlands.
The countries area is some 160 square kilometers (62 sq.
Miles) It belongs to the very few "miniature" countries in
Europe as Monaco, San Marino and the Vatican.
