Germany

On our many travels to the Amateur Radio Exhibition in Friedrichshafen,
Southern Germany, we visited over the span of years different parts of the
Country. From Munich we made many excursions to various parts of the most
beautiful Bavarian landscape.
The area around "Lake Constance" is certainly worth a visit as well as the
“Romantische Deutsche Alpenstrasse” winding itself through the Bavarian
Alps, crossing the border time and again between Austria and Germany.
Walking through the old Castles from the past at "Linderhof", "Schongau" and
"Neuschwanstein" is an experience not easily forgotten, it brings you back to
the Middle Ages.
Going up the 2967 meter high "Zug Spitze" you are on top of the world, and
on the border of two countries, the view is fantastic.
Driving through the “Black Forest” and stopping at picturesque villages along
the way having a beer and admiring nature in all its glory, makes for a very
nice journey indeed.
Walking around the city of the rebuilt Berlin  is a historical lesson in history.
